About the event

Junior Cotillion Year Middleburg

5th and 6th Grade 5:30-7:00pm

7th and 8th Grade 7:15-8:45pm

Jr. Cotillion Year I consists of five classes (about 1 per month) and a Grand Spring Ball.

Tuition for the 2023-24 season is $375.

Etiquette training will cover topics such as proper seating and escort position, introductions, giving and receiving compliments, thank you notes, basic table manners, cell phone etiquette, and responding to invitations, and conversation skills.

Dance instruction includes Foxtrot, Cha Cha, Swing, and Waltz, in addition to line dances. Parents join us for the last half hour of the final class in preparation for our parent-child dance at the end of the Spring Ball. Additional information will be emailed to parents before classes start.

The Grand Spring Ball provides students with an opportunity to practice the skills, etiquette, and dance steps that they have been learning in a unique and exciting social situation.

Children in 6th grade can join either the Year 1 or the Year 2 class. Different material will be covered in each.
