Join us to watch the true story of horseracing legend Secretariat! He won three very important horse races, called the Triple Crown in 1973—and he set a track record in every race that stands today. Secretariat was born and raised in Virginia. This horse from Virginia is regarded as the greatest racehorse of all time. Disney did a wonderful job of telling the story of the horse and his owner Penny Chenery.

A giant bronze sculpture of Secretariat is going to be arriving in Middleburg on August 8th and will be staying for a couple of days at the National Sporting Library. Hope you get a chance to see it too!

Proceeds from the Secretariat movie tonight benefit the Middleburg Community Center and Loudoun Therapeutic Riding.

Lives are changed through the transformational power of the horse. Great horses...(like Secretariat) change lives. Your contribution ensures that horses are made accessible to people with special needs in Loudoun County. Thank you! Founded in 1974, Loudoun Therapeutic Riding is the oldest program of its kind in Virginia. We share the healing power of horses with people with special needs. We help adults and children with autism, cerebral palsy and many other challenges. Veterans ride and drive horses with us through our Equine Services for Heroes program. Unmounted educational programming is offered to senior citizens and school age children.
