Middleburg Montessori School announces it's holding its 13th annual Art of the Piedmont charity auction on Friday evening, March 15th, 2024, at the Middleburg Community Center in Middleburg, VA.

The event raises financial support for Middleburg Montessori School and provides a forum for many local talented artists in the area. Art of the Piedmont volunteers have been working on modernizing and adding fun features to help celebrate this, the 13th year auction, which coincides with Middleburg Montessori School’s 44th year of operation. In keeping with years past Covid friendly platform we will once again offer a week-long virtual auction via Better World for eager bidders and “out of towners” or those who are unable to attend in person. Early bidding will be a week long event virtually beginning Friday March 8, 2024 and continuing into our in person Gallery, Friday March 15, 2024, 6:00-8:00 PM.

The Auction Reception will feature works of fine art by a talented, professional group of local artists, and the proceeds will be divided evenly between the Middleburg Montessori School and the artists, thus supporting both the school’s nonprofit mission and the local art community. Ticket sales and information is forthcoming.

The Art of the Piedmont has been raising financial support for Middleburg Montessori School for 13 years. Thanks to the determination and dedication of a few parents and local community members, Art of the Piedmont was an idea turned reality that has continued to grow support for this 501(c)(3) non-profit school.

Middleburg Montessori School has been serving families in our community for 44 years and uses these funds in an effort to serve as many children as possible, all while meeting each and every child’s developmental needs. Last year's event brought in $35,000.

It is of the utmost importance to MMS to support all families in attending montessori schools. Art of the Piedmont is our largest fundraiser and allows us to continue supporting 52% of our students with financial aid. The Art of the Piedmont has raised over $146,000 for the school while supporting our local artists and community the past 13 years.
