Middleburg Business & Professional Association presented Middleburg Community Center with this award for Event of the Year. Having such a long tradition in Middleburg which is often overshadowed by bigger events, the voters felt it deserved recognition. It's a real community event, designed for our residents and it is always well attended. It's also an event that relies on community support, and that comes through the efforts of a handful of people who work really hard to make it happen.

MCC Wins Design Excellence Award

The Loudoun County Department of Economic Development recently held its Signatures of Loudoun Design Excellence Program. The Middleburg Community Center was awarded as the 2008 Signatures of Loudoun Design Excellence Award in the Legends Category on May 6, 2008.

The Legends category is recognition for design excellence over a period of 25 years or more, a "test of time".

These projects are more than a spatial experience. They have become the icons of our collective memory which makes Loudoun County unique.
